Samsung is far from the fastest company out there when it comes to Android updates, but it has accelerated over the years. The tech giant does not yet share the release schedule yet, but depending on how we handle Android 10 updates, we expect it to release the first stable Android 11 update to selected markets later this year.

The Galaxy S20 and Note 20 phones will be among the first to get the latest version of Android, with dozens of other Galaxy models recently. Software support for older Samsung flags such as the Note 9 and S9 stand with Android 10, so these devices will not be upgraded to a single-scented UI version of Android 11. October 15, 2020: Samsung expanded its closed beta system to developers, XDA-Developers Reports. After releasing the One UI 3.0 update based on Android 11 in the US and South Korea last month, the company is also launching it in Germany. The update comes in at about 1.8GB.


October 27, 2020: It looks like Samsung is releasing a One UI 3.0 beta update based on Android 11 on Galaxy Note 20 devices in the US. To check the latest software, you must register with the Samsung membership app. The update is available on unlocked phones, as well as those purchased from T-Mobile and Sprint.


November 11, 2020: Samsung has expanded its One UI 3.0 beta system to the Galaxy Note 10 series, reports by XDA-Developers. Calls are already receiving updates, but only in South Korea at the moment. There is no word on when they will get a beta update in some markets, but we probably won't have to wait long.


November 17, 2020: It looks like Samsung is delaying the release of the One UI 3.0 beta for the Galaxy S10, the Galaxy Note 10 family, the Galaxy Z Flip, and the Galaxy Z Fold 2. The reason for the delay with the release of Android 11 on the Galaxy Note 10 in a limited edition of South Korea. There is no word on when the update will be released directly through spoken calls, but we will be sure to update this post when we know more.


November 25, 2020: The One UI 3.0 beta version of the Galaxy S10 series is now live, reports SamMobile. Users in countries including India, South Korea, and the UK can try to update if they sign up for the program.


December 2, 2020: Samsung unveils its Android 11 / One UI 3.0 update. Samsung's first calls for a stable update will be the Samsung Galaxy S20, S20 Plus, and S20 Ultra, which will be available later this month. You can check out the entire program below.
