Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite smartphones in India and Spain have begun to receive an Android 11 update based on One UI 3.0, according to a report. The update brings the features of One UI 3.0, such as redesigned UI elements, improved speed panel, enhanced lock screen and updated Samsung apps. The update also brings the December 2020 Android patch patch. However, other phones in the series, such as the Samsung Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 +, and Galaxy S10 5G have not received an update yet.
As a post to Samsung Community, first seen by Samsung Mobile, the Android 11-based One UI 3.0 update for the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite features a firmware version G770FXXU3DTL1. The update has a file size of 2,053.34MB, and is released in India and Spain. As reported by the developers of XDAD, the revitalization also appears to have taken place in the US, Russia, UAE and Panama. Samsung is expected to release a review of several markets in the coming weeks.
The update brings both Android 11- and One UI 3.0 related features to the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite. There are updated UI layouts, better animation, chat bubbles, and improvements on regular display. Users will also find a dedicated chat section in the shadow notifications and a dedicated media play widget. The update reportedly improved performance and battery performance.
