Realme to launch device with smapdragon 888 with koi branding-

Realme koi brand has coming with its new flagship device with snapdragon 888.The handset is expected to officially start operating in China in the first quarter of 2021.

Major brands are currently in the race to be the first to launch the Snapdragon 888-enabled smartphone Xiaomi has already announced the launch of its Mi 11 series on December 28, which will arrive as the world's first smartphone Snapdragon 888. Now, Realme has mocked its upcoming flag called Realme Koi in Weibo.

Shortly after the announcement of the Snapdragon 888 processor, Realme announced that they will be launching the latest smartphone and chipset soon. The device has been running the internet for some time now with its brand name, Race. Realme has now officially announced the name of the upcoming device without further disclosure.

Realme went to Weibo to announce Koi moniker for the upcoming smartphone. In fact, Realme went the extra mile and made a Weibo page dedicated to the upcoming flagship smartphone. From now on, Realme Koi's dedicated handle has an advertising poster listed on it.

Speaking of posters, it doesn’t reveal much. In addition to the Realme tag line, there are two brightly colored koi fish. We can safely assume that the upcoming flagship will come with active paintjobs. Additionally, there is a Chinese text in the poster, which translates freely ‘Start of the new year, stay tuned.’ This suggests that the smartphone is likely to be launched in the first quarter of 2021.

The name is inspired by Koi, a decorated domestic fish known for its beautiful colors. Koi fish is also important in Chinese and Japanese cultures where it is considered good. The choice of Realme’s name with its flagship smartphone is interesting but also what it means it will come in different colors and have beautiful designs. Chinese smartphone brands are known for their amazing touch of Smartphones and it would not be surprising to see Realme do just that with its 2021 flag.

In the poster, Realme shared a similar cover of Realme Koi magazine. Adorned with two Koi fish raised by Realme’s motto “Dare to Leap”. The poster, however, does not say anything about the date of the launch of Realme Koi. It is clear that the dignitary is coming next year and some rumors have suggested that Realme Koi may be arriving in February. Its launch could coincide with the launch of the Oppo Find X3 series. But nothing is set on stone right now.
